BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- The fifth-grade Youth Power Club of Jefferson Elementary School in Bergenfield led a community service project that raised a total of $9,600 during a Math-a-Thon to support St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Photo Credit: FacebookClub members invited fellow students to participate in the project. Students asked sponsors for donations and in return completed math problems at their grade level.
All money raised will help pay for cancer treatments for children at St. Jude.
