Tenant tied up in another New Milford home invasion robbery

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: In a virtual rerun of an incident last month, three robbers burst into a New Milford apartment, put a blanket over the tenant’s head and ransacked the place, saying they were looking for drugs, the tenant told police.

Then they tied him up in a closet and fled with two cell phones, an IPod, an IPod Nano, a laptop computer  and a desk top computer, Police Chief Frank Papapietro told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

After nearly a half hour, he was able to free himself and call police, the chief said.

The home invasion occurred around 9:30 Friday night in the 900 block of the Boulevard in the Brookchester Apartment complex, in the same area as the December home invasion. In both cases, the robbers said they were looking for drugs, Papapietro said.
