NEW MILFORD, N.J. -- A self-employed mover from New Milford surrendered to authorities on Tuesday after narcotics detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office said they found cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and $6,865 in alleged drug proceeds in his home during a raid last week.
Patruck LaCorte, 24, was ordered held on $25,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail pending a Dec. 28 first appearance on drug charges in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
Detectives hit the Asbury Street house between River Road and Boulevard last Thursday, Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said.
Assisting were New Milford police and a Bergen County Sheriff’s K-9 unit, he said.
Aware that authorities were looking for him, LaCorte turned himself in, the prosecutor said.
