Bergenfield Woman, Haledon Man Caught In Fort Lee Crack Bust

FORT LEE, N.J. -- Detectives from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotic Task Force arrested a Bergenfield woman and a Haledon man after they said they watched her sell him crack in Fort Lee.

Investigators and Fort Lee police seized 11 grams of crack cocaine while arresting Jenna L. Defuria, 24, and Waled Elfki, 25, in the Washington Bridge Plaza shopping center after she'd sold before to undercover detectives, Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said Saturday.

Both Defuria, whom Grewal described as a technician, and Elfki, a contractor, were charged with various drug offenses and released on summons with May 18 dates in Central Municipal Court in Hackensack, he said.
