"Residents will unite to march ... showing officials, neighboring towns and all townspeople we strongly oppose this terrible settlement with Landmark Developer," organizers noted in a flyer. "We refuse to accept these outlandish settlement terms that are so bad for Dumont residents and taxpayers."
The walk is open to everyone -- and "the more residents, toddlers and babies in strollers, the better."
Organizers also noted that the march will be peaceful and respectful, thanking the Dumont Police Department for its cooperation and assistance.
The march will begin at the D'Angelo Farm, 546 Washington Ave., at 6 p.m., and end at Dumont High School, for a rally before the 7 p.m. council meeting.
