Boulevard Closed Saturday Morning For New Milford Ed Foundation 5K

NEW MILFORD, N.J. — The Boulevard in New Milford will be closed to traffic from 7 a.m. util noon on Saturday, Oct. 24 for the third annual New Milford Education Foundation run.

Young runners will take their marks on Oct. 24.

The race includes a 10K, a 5K Grand Prix and a Kid's Run. All proceeds collected by the NMEF Road Runners Club will fund grants for the public schools.

There will be finisher medals, additional raffle prizes and a 50/50 drawing.

The 10K starts at 8 a.m. and is a flat, fast course. The 5K starts at 9:30 a.m. and is also fast and flat. The kids race begins at 11 a.m. and is a little more than a half-mile dash around the B.F. Gibbs Elementary School.

The registration desk opens at 6 a.m. The after party starts at 11 a.m. at the New Milford Athletic Club, 126 Boulevard.
