Corrado Wins Primary, Will Face Wyckoff's Duch In Dist. 40 Run

Passaic County Clerk Kristin M. Corrado bested former Assemblyman Paul DiGaetano and Edward Buttimore in the Republican Primary for State Senate in the 40th District Tuesday.

Corrado will now face off against Democrat Thomas Duch of Wyckoff in November.

Incumbent Assemblyman Kevin Rooney, the former mayor of Wyckoff, and Christopher DePhillips won the republican nominations for two Assembly seats in the district.

They beat out Norman M. Robertson and Joseph L. Bubba, Jr. and will now face democrats Paul Vagianos of Ridgewood and Christine Ordway of Franklin Lakes in the November general election.

Corrado will face Democrat Thomas Duch of Wyckoff in the general election. Duch, the Garfield City Manager, will be joined by assembly candidates Paul Vagianos of Ridgewood and Christine Ordway of Franklin Lakes on the democratic ticket. All three ran unopposed in the primary.
