Speeds reach 100 miles an hour down Forest Avenue as the vehicle, reported stolen out of Westwood, headed through Maywood before Paramus police nabbed two occupants in Elmwood Park, they said.

A police car and at least two others were struck, they added. It was unclear whether those two were police vehicles.

The pursuit eventually came down Market Street in Elmwood Park before police stopped the car on the entrance ramp to westbound Route 80.

A second vehicle taken from Emerson was reportedly found severely damaged in Irvington, authorities said. Borough police were investigating, Police Chief Michael Mazzeo said.

Paramus police were the lead agency in the pursuit that produced the arrests.
