Officer Bryan Mone found the fleeing Newark pair a few blocks from the victim's Avon Place residence late Saturday morning, Detective Lt. Kevin Van Saders said.

They were carrying "multiple driver's licenses, credit cards and other identifications," he said.

Agustin Yolydelarosa, 21, and Fransisco Garcia-Moreno, 23, were taken into custody and charged with attempting to receive stolen property and conspiracy to commit theft

The driver, Garcia-Moreno, was charged with driving without a license, while Yolydelarosa was charged with allowing an unlicensed person to operate a motor vehicle.

Yolydelarosa also was charged with impersonation.

Both also received failure-to-wear-seatbelt summonses before being released, under New Jersey's 2017 bail reform law, pending a hearing in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
