Do You Know Him? Bergenfield Police Say He Snatched Walgreens Cash Drawer

BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Bergenfield police were seeking the public's help finding a man who they said snatched a cash register drawer that held at least $100 from a local Walgreens cosmetics counter Friday night.

Anyone who might have seen something or has information that could help the investigation is asked to call Bergenfield police: (201) 387-4000.

Authorities released a surveillance photo Saturday afternoon of their suspect, who was seen on video "removing the cash register drawer and placing it in [his] sweatshirt and walking out of the store" just after 6 p.m., Capt. Mustafa Rabboh said.

Rabboh described him as in his late 20’s, wearing a black t shirt, black pants and white Air Jordan sneakers, with the sweatshirt on his shoulder.

He asked that anyone who might have seen something or has information that could help the investigation to call Bergenfield police: (201) 387-4000.
