"Due to the aggressive behavior of some in attendance" at the Madison Avenue party around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, police deployed pepper spray and took two juveniles into custody for obstructing justice, Detective Lt. Robert Bracken said Monday.

No injuries were reported.

Police identified the alleged gunman -- 18-year-old Elizjah T. Booker of Passaic -- and arrested him at his home early Sunday morning, Bracken said.

Booker was charged with aggravated assault and various weapons offenses.

Police were searching for the gun.

Anyone with information that could help the investigation is asked to contact the Clifton Police Department Juvenile Division: (973) 470-5908.
