BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Bergenfield lifted its snow emergency as of 5 p.m. Wednesday.
"Overnight parking within the borough will still be prohibited," Police Chief Cathy Madalone said. "Please be courteous and try to park on one side of the street only to allow for free passage of emergency and non-emergency vehicles."
Madalone also reminded residents and business owners to "remove ice and snow from vehicles before traveling -- and do not shovel snow into the roadways."
