NEW MILFORD, N.J. -- Victoria Saso, of New Milford, died on Wednesday, Jan. 11. She was 96.
Born in Brooklyn, Saso lived in Queens before moving to New Milford, in 1964. "She was a devoted wife and mother who selflessly and generously supported the ARC for many years," information from the funeral home noted.
She is survived her sons, Charlie Saso and his wife Charlene, and Paul Saso and his wife Linda; grandchildren Paul Saso Jr., Charles Saso Jr., Corinne Karpack, Nicholas Saso, Kristen Scholz and Cara Saso; and great-grandchildren Maria, Alexa, Ryan, Sara, Gianna and Megan.
Saso was predeceased by her husband, Charles Saso, and her son, Ralph Saso.
A prayer service was held on Saturday morning, Jan. 14, at the Boulevard Funeral Home and Cremation Service, in New Milford. Burial was in Hackensack Cemetery.
