NEW MILFORD, N.J. – Rose P. Vaz, a longtime resident of New Milford, died Monday, July 18. She was 86.
For many years, she worked as a junior accountant at Meldisco in Hackensack and Mahwah. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s RC Church in Oradell.
She is survived by her children Joseph Vaz and his wife Lisa and Leonard Vaz; and grandchildren Rosa and Sophia.
She was predeceased by her husband Jack Vaz.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell. There will be a funeral service at 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s RC Church, 105 Harrison St., New Milford. Interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
