Kenneth Jack Knapp, 83, Of Bergenfield

BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Kenneth Jack Knapp, a lifelong resident of Bergenfield, died Wednesday, Jan. 20. He was 83.

Knapp served in the U.S. Army from 1953-55 and worked for New Jersey Bell for more than 45 years as a telephone lineman and installer.

He is survived by sister-in-law Lucille Knapp; nephew Robert Knapp and his wife Betsy; Carol Smith and her husband Ralph; Linda Gilbert and her husband Jeff; and Christine Favata and her husband Len. He also is survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother Joseph L. Knapp.
