NEW MILFORD, N.J -- June Hastings, of New Milford, died on Wednesday, March 15. She was 85.
Born in the Bronx, Hastings was a resident of New Milford for many years before settling in Bergenfield several years ago. She worked as a switchboard operator for over 25 years at S. Goldberg & Company, in Hackensack.
She is survived by her nephew, Kenneth Hood, and many close friends.
Visitation will be from 8:15-9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22 at Boulevard Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1151 River Rd., in New Milford. A funeral mass will follow, at 9:30 a.m. at Church of the Ascension, 256 Azalea Dr., in New Milford. Burial will follow, at Hackensack Cemetery.
