NEW MILFORD, N.J. -- Irene Ellen Tucci, of New Milford, died Saturday, Aug 13. She was 93.
Born Nov 2, 1922, in Beacon, N.Y., she lived in New Milford most of her life.
During World War II, she was employed by U.S. Rubber in Passiac while her husband Joseph Tucci was oversees in Germany fighting with the U.S. Army. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved to play bingo and bowl.
She is survived by her son, Joseph E. Tucci and his wife Jeanette; grandchildren, Ginamarie Tucci and her partner Bren Anema, Joseph Tucci and his girlfriend Lisa Brennan, Douglas Tucci and his wife Deb and Timothy Tucci and his wife Mary.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Alzheimer's Research Foundation, 124 Prospect St., Ridgewood, NJ, 07450.
