BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Beatrice Kukkonen, of Wimauma, Fla. and formerly of Bergenfield, died Aug. 31. She was 94.
Born in Englewood in 1922, she moved to Bergenfield in 1950.
She was a retired secretary for the Bergenfield School System.
She was the widow of Andrew Kukkonen; mother of Beth Politi; and grandmother of Andrew Politi and Joseph Polaris.
Visiting will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at Riewerts Memorial Home, 187 S. Washington Ave., Bergenfield with an 11 a.m. funeral service. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
