A winning ticket has been sold in the $429.6 million Powerball drawing held late Saturday night.
The winning ticket was sold in Mercer County, New Jersey, state lottery officials said early Sunday morning.The ticket holder has a year to claim the prize.
The winner numbers drawn were: 5-25--26-44-66 with the Powerball 9.
"The New Jersey Lottery is thrilled to announce that the sole winning ticket of the May 7th Powerball drawing was purchased in the Garden State," the New Jersey Lottery said in a statement. "The $429.6 million jackpot winning ticket was sold in Mercer County and matched the 5 white balls and the Powerball."
In addition, seven other tickets matched five numbers with payouts of $1 million each. There were three sold in New York, with two sold on Long Island, two others were sold in Illinois and one each was sold in Virginia and California.
It was the largest Powerball jackpot since January when the $1.6 billion prize was split among three ticket holders.
The current estimate jackpot for the latest Powerball drawing is a mere $40 million.
