BERGENFIELD, N.J. — New Jersey and Habitat Bergen officials put on their hard hats for the groundbreaking of a new energy efficient home in Bergenfield on Saturday.

In attendance were Bergenfield Mayor Norman Schmelz, Councilman Charles K. Steinel, New Jersey Assemblyman Tim Eustace, Bergen County Freeholder Tom Sullivan Junior and Chairman of Bergen County Freeholders Steven Tanelli.

The 1,900 square foot house on on Bergen Avenue will be occupied by a low-income family.

The house will be complete with three bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, a kitchen, living room, and one-car garage (SEE: Habitat For Humanity Breaks Ground On New Home For Bergenfield Family ).
