Jesus Lopez remains medicated at New Bridge Medical Center, and has not been medically cleared to make his first court appearance, the article says.

He faces charges of murder, desecrating human remains, hindering apprehension and weapons possession, Daily Voice reported after Lopez allegedly slit his 56-year-old mother's throat before hiding her body in the detached Spring Valley Road garage.
