RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- The Valley Hospital is holding its third annual Teddy Bear Clinic on Saturday, Oct. 15 to help children and adolescents better understand and associate with the hospital.
Valley doctors, nurses and staff will play with children and their families using real and pretend medical equipment. Children between ages two and 10 and their teddy bears will visit medical play stations set up in the Terrace Room at the hospital. Each stuffed animal will receive a hospital bracelet before visiting each station as part of their check-up.
The event features an ambulance tour and interactive stations, including Pediatric and Pediatric Emergency Care, Diagnostic Imaging, Respiratory Care, Pet Therapy and more.
