He has his iPhone ready to snap a picture of the cheese oozing out, and then continues with his meal.

The 28-year-old will later go back through his photos and find the best one to post on his "food porn" account on @chrispy.eats Instagram, where he's amounted thousands of followers since launching in April.

"People just love to look at food," Putignano said. "But a lot are scared to eat as much as [food bloggers] do, so they just look at it."

The Clifton High School graduate (2007) now works as a food broker out of Long Island and is constantly on the road.

He found himself stopping at foodie hot spots across the metro north area and, with encouragement from friends, decided to start a social media account of his own this year.

Putignano is currently on vacation and has been spending it trying all the places he's been meaning to get to.

"New York is awesome but I try to hit as much of New Jersey as I can," he said. "It's extremely hard to pin point what my favorite food is — every experience is different."

So far, he's been to dozens in Bergen and Passaic counties including Bing's Burgers in Fort Lee, Reilly's Rib Cage in Bergenfield, Callahan's in Norwood, Steve's Burgers in Garfield, The Halal Guys in Teterboro, Brownstone in Edgewater and many more.

Since becoming a food blogger, Putignano says his clothes are actually feeling looser.

"I'll go to one place a day," he said. "And then I make sure I schedule time for the gym."
