The Go Bergenfield District Alliance is excited to announce the inaugural event, Key To A Great Spring, from Thursday, May 10 through Friday, May 18. During this time, participating Bergenfield stores, restaurants and salons will be distributing treasure chest keys with purchase at their business.
All key holders will then have the opportunity to try to open the treasure chest filled with over $1,000 in prizes. The treasure chest opening will take place on Saturday, May 19 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Bedford Street, near Washington Avenue. Should inclement weather occur, the event will take place at Main Fashion Optical, located at 1 North Washington Avenue.
“We are thrilled to announce our newest Bergenfield event, Key to a Great Spring,” said Mayor Norman Schmelz. “This event will bring business, tourism and foot traffic to the great stores and restaurants that Bergenfield has to offer, as well as bring the community together for a day full of family fun.”
For the duration of the event, every time you shop, dine or use a service at one of the participating Bergenfield businesses, ask for a treasure chest key. There is no limit to the amount of keys one can acquire. The more keys collected, the more chances to open the treasure chest. More than 40 keys will unlock the treasure chest containing five $100 grand prizes courtesy of Dello Russo Laser Vision and over 40 gift certificates from participating Bergenfield businesses.
