BERGENFIELD, N.J. — A new exhibit highlighting the history of the borough's public school system has opened in the Bergenfield Museum.
The district has its 125th anniversary this year. The exhibit will feature photos of students stretching back in time to the town's 1981 one-room schoolhouse.
It will also have mannequins in period dress representing early students and their teacher.
The Bergenfield Museum is at 100 Cooper Street in Bergenfield facing Cooper's Pond. It's open on Tuesday and Saturday from 1-3 p.m.
